Dear Future Husband,

It’s past mid-night and I am trying to contain all the happiness and joy of starting a life with you.

I mean, we started our lives together the day we got together, but more like in an official way, it’ll be you and I, running our unit; just us, wherever we go.

I am filled with fear and joy at the same time, and yet not a doubt that there’s nothing we can’t achieve till the time we are together. You’re that pillar of strength for me.

I cannot contain, because I don’t want anyone to jinx it.

I see pictures of other brides and weddings and cannot stop thinking how would it be, for us together when all the festivities begin. It would really be like a more festive way of saying us vs the world. Because in a way it would be us standing together, maybe on a stage and the world would be literally on the other side, watching us. Also realized that it is the same society we need to be wary of.

I like it though, Us versus the World.

Also, I know that you know, but I’ll put it out in the open that I’m not perfect. So I cannot thank you enough for being all that you are because our imperfectness seems to stick together. And I promise that at each moment of us, I’ll be doing my best and I know whatever that best maybe, you’ll still be there patiently holding me.

I love you,
Cheer
